The SSH Tectia client/server solution offers a FIPS 140-2 certified cryptographic module that uses standards-based state-of-the-art encryption, which helps ensure acceptance in security audits and pending legislations. Wide support for different authentication methods makes the SSH Tectia client/server solution well suited for government and financial applications, where reliable identification of users is required. The SSH Tectia client/server solution incorporates the RSA SecurID® technology enabling strong two-factor user authentication. In addition, the SSH Tectia client/server solution has extensive support for PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) for added security and scalability.

Fully Transparent to the User
Developed specifically for the enterprise, SSH Tectia Connector allows corporate end users to connect to business applications securely, automatically, and transparently when an IP connection is established. No end user training is required and IT helpdesk calls are eliminated thanks to the invisible secure application connectivity provided by SSH Tectia Connector.

Transparent Application Tunneling
SSH Tectia Connector provides transparent application tunneling of client/server connections without the need to modify or re-configure the applications. Specifically, there is no need to configure application software to use local hosts or ports in order to set up the tunnels. The transparent application tunneling reduces the total cost of ownership since secure business communications can be implemented as a separate centrally managed middleware layer without the need for additional application management.
